We're already serving...
As we enter into this new series, Heart of a Missional Church, we are excited about the opportunities we'll have to begin serving in the community. There are a lot of groups and people within our church who are already investing in the Lincoln community. This series will emphasize a church-wide philosophy of both bringing people into the church with bridge events and sending people out into the community to share the love of Christ.
Rock Solid started a new ministry, Compassion in Action, and they worked with Kids Against Hunger a couple of weeks ago to package 5,104 meals for people in need.
thepoint did a service project at Park Middle School on August 3rd. They worked for a couple of hours pulling weeds in an outdoor courtyard at the school. It was a great experience for the young adults and was something the school really needed.
