What are Connect Groups?
Connect Groups are the small group ministry at Christ's Place. Groups of 20 or so people meet each week
with a trained leader and host. Connect Groups will increase your friendship base in a non-threatening environment and you will grow in your understanding of God's Word.
When are Connect Groups?
Semesters of Connect Groups begin in October, February and May and each semester lasts 10-12 weeks. Groups take one month off during sign up for the next semester of groups. At that point, you can sign up for the same group or try a new group!
Where do they meet?
Connect Groups meet on various days and nights each week throughout Lincoln and surrounding communities. Most groups meet in homes, though some groups meet in cozy home-like rooms at Christ's Place.
How do I sign up?
Connect Groups are easy to join. In September, January and May a Connect Group Catalog will list all of the available groups you can be a part of that semester. Pick a group that works for you and sign up on your Connection Card or at the Welcome Center on Sundays, or right here online. Your new group leader will contact you that week. |
