Christ's Place Partners with Convoy of Hope
Christ's Place is partnering with Convoy of Hope to help the victims of the Haiti disaster. Convoy of Hope feeds millions of people in need in the United States and around the world through children's nutrition initiatives, city-wide outreaches and disaster response. To date, the organization has provided real help to 28 million people in 112 countries and 45 states.

On Sunday, January 17 at Christ's Place, over $11,000 was given to Convoy of Hope. You can continue to give to help Convoy of Hope meet needs in Haiti, either by giving online at Convoy of Hope or by giving in a special offering during a Sunday service.

Updates

A Convoy of Hope warehouse in Haiti already feeds 7,000 children everyday. Because it was just fully stocked with food, Convoy of Hope was able to give away 500,000 meals immediately after the disaster happened.

Convoy of Hope now has nine points of distribution for food and water operating in Haiti through which, 200,000 meals have already been served. Two mobile unites are also distributing food and water where people can't reach help.

Over 1 million pounds (25 containers) of food are already on their way to Haiti from the Convoy of Hope World Distribution Center.
