FAQ
We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. If it's been a long time since you've been to church, Christ's Place has you in mind. There's already enough you have to think about when visiting a church for the first time. We hope that getting some of this stuff out of the way not only encourages you to join us for church, but also helps you to connect with the hope and encouragement God has for you.
1. What should I wear?
We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress comfortably and you'll fit right in.
2. What are the service times?
We meet on Saturdays at 7 PM Sundays at 9 & 11 AM.

4. What do you have for my kids?
Nursery (Birth - 2 years) & Preschool (3-5 Years)
The check in is located just outside the northwest side of the sanctuary.
Elementary (K-5th Grade)
Lighthouse Kids meet up the stairs in the north wing of the foyer. You can't miss the stairs. The kids meet during all services (Saturdays at 7 PM and Sundays at 9 & 11 AM).
We also offer Royal Rangers and Mpact Girls Clubs on Wednesday nights which are small groups for kids.
5. Do you offer something for my teenager?
Rock Solid is a ministry for 6-12 grade students. They meet on Wednesday nights at 7:05 pm. Click here for more information about Rock Solid.
6. Do you offer small groups?
Yes. We call them Connect Groups which offer the opportunity to connect with God and one another. These groups of 12-16 people meet every week in someone's home. Connect Groups are semester based with groups lasting 10-12 weeks beginning in October, February and June each year.
7. Are you affiliated with a denomination?
Christ's Place is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, a pentecostal fellowship, headquarted in Springfield, Missouri. We are part of the Nebraska District Council of Assemblies of God Churches.
8. Can I receive prayer?
Yes, we often provide an opportunity to receive individual prayer during a service. If you need special prayer, please let one of our pastors or altar workers know following a service. You may also submit a prayer request online by clicking here and it will be sent directly to a pastor. |
