Every Wednesday night, students from Lincoln and the surrounding area invade Christ's Place for a night of super loud worship, dynamic discipleship and a little bit of silliness.
Students are encouraged to come a bit early to pummel each other with dodgeballs in the gym, play some b'ball or grab a tasty treat in our very own Holy Grounds Cafe.
At 7:05 we run (yes, run) into the sanctuary where a team of rock stars lead us into worship. Dancing, screaming and smiling are not mandatory during this time, but are strongly encouraged. And it's hard not to smile when our Rock Solid Breaking News team delivers the announcements by video. This team of teenage professionals dial the 411 to keep you informed.
This is a lot to take in, but by this time it's only like 8:00 and we've got tons-o-fun left. Pastor Bruce Riddle, a man with passion for students and the word "stinkin,'" challenges students each week in the areas of relationships, involvement, worship, discipleship and evangelism. How sweet is that? Wow! Rock Solid sure is awesome. It's no wonder we're growing. And all this is just the tip of the iceburg.
